Italian Countryside

The view from the hill above Assisi. In the foreground is the Basilica di Santa Chiara (Basilica of Saint Claire) also known around the world as the Poor Claires. The EWTN television station was founded by a Poor Claire. The view looks down into the Umbrian countryside.

Assisi was my favorite Italian city, perhaps because it was quaint and mountainous although it might just be because it was relaxing and quiet.
